Monte Wade Fine Arts is the most exciting art gallery in downtown San Antonio. It is located in historical La Villita and has been in business since 1986. Representing over fifty artists, there is an enormous selection of many different types of art. The owner, Monte Wade, personally chooses all artwork displayed in the gallery.

Monte has spent most of his life involved in the art community. His mother, Juan Dell is a very well known sculptor and his father, Joe Wade, an established gallery owner. Joe Wade Fine Arts is the oldest and finest gallery in downtown Santa Fe, NM. The art community lost a great man when Joe passed in February of 2001 and he is sorely missed by family and friends. Monte’s brother and sister are both successful artists, his brother is a sculptor and his sister a painter. The gallery features the work of his sister, Arlene LaDell Hayes and his mother Juan Dell Wade.

It is no accident that Monte Wade Fine Arts is such a beautiful and successful gallery, it has been built by a man with a very educated eye for great artwork.
