Sage Gibson
Sage Gibson is a French - German - Indian - Non Vegan – Scorpio and Native of San Antonio. She has earned a BFA from UT, She reads Sci-Fi, is a Late Night Artist & rarely has time to practice for her Friday afternoon Flamenco guitar lesson. She prefers piano & guitar music without lyrics, as they provide a smooth backdrop for her creativity.
Her Gallery pieces consist of acrylics suspended in clear layers with silver & gold leafing to create a glass-like depth. They are sealed with a super duper high gloss lacquer. The result is pure Eye Candy, and a depth you have to see and got-ta touch.
Her red, white, and blue star triptychs “Texas Trios” & “ Made in the USA” have become a favorite to complement her unique Flags. Her work also has a refreshing
lack of respect for the academic straight jacket of perspective and form.
Recent works…Texas Twangs embody large Texas Icons. Such as the 6 ft Monarch Butterfly, 6 ft tall Longnecks, and of course the Texas & American Flags!!!
The True Texan Flags & True American Flags are also larger than life, some 12 feet and up! But don’t Fret… minis are available too.
