John Oteri

John Oteri was born in the historical East Texas town of Jefferson, and later spent a great deal of time in the Southwestern United States.  Oteri developed an acute awareness of nature and how man's built environment affects it.  Most of Oteri's paintings and drawings reflect this understanding and he uses Southwestern landscapes as inspiration for many of his backdrops.
