Darryl Willison

Darryl Willison takes a humorous approach to the subject of cowboy life in his whimsical colorful depictions, reminding the viewer to lighten up and enjoy the ride. "I like to think my art captures the romance, action, and adventure of the Hollywood cowboys, as well as the values of the 10-gallon-hat-society." For those who weren't around during the era of the silver screen cowboy, he wants to introduce them to it, in blazing color. Willison styles himself as "America's Drawing Cowboy." Everything I draw is from memory, inspired by cowboy history, and re-created in my imagination."
